Statement on NHS and Key Workers Discount

Statement from Freddie, the owner of SKS on 12 October 2022. 

As a small business in the UK, we would like to express our gratitude to all NHS and Key Workers* during the unprecedented global pandemic. Thank you so much for your service. 

Although the pandemic seems to be under control, many corporations have since rescinded their special offers for NHS and Key workers. We would like to extend this offer to as long as possible, because we know, clapping and just mere words are not what our nurses, carers and other key workers need in this cost of living crisis. A pay rise in line with inflation and more support from the government is what they need. 

SKS as a small company we are not able to donate to lobbying group and influence government policy. Nonetheless we are still determined to do our bit for the heroes who has been taking care of the health of the nation for 70 + years.
